Air Force opens season Nov. 5 in exhibition versus Adams State

Falcons hold their first practice of the season

Today the Air Force women's basketball team, led by first-year head coach Andrea Williams and her new staff, opened up the 2010-11 season with the first official practice of the year.

"We had fun," said Williams, at the conclusion of practice. "The first day of practice is always exciting. We were able to slow things down and work on some of the things we're adding this year, with our defensive scheme and our offensive pace. Our tempo this season will definitely look different. I was also extremely happy with our players' focus for the two and a half hours, after moving from hour-long workouts."
