USAFA, Colo. - The annual Air Force Academy Girls' Basketball Camps return this June, with two full sessions of instruction. Session I, which be held June 10-15, is open to girls ages 12-16, while session II, which will run June 17-22, will include campers ages 8-18.
In addition, the Air Force women's basketball program has added a pair of one-day Elite Camps to the schedule this summer. The Elite Camps, currently open to any 2013-2016 high school graduates, will be held on June 9 and June 30.
"We're excited about our camps that are just around the corner," said Air Force head coach Andrea Williams. "We want to feed off the excitement generated by the women's Final Four and those tremendous teams that came to Denver. We've changed some things, and now we have the Elite Camp. We're excited to have that, a one-day event, which is something different to offer that top student-athlete who wants a little bit more of the college-type drills."
