Beck Named To MWC Women's Basketball All-Conference Team

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Air Force junior guard Raimee Beck was named to the Mountain West Conference 2009-10 Women's Basketball All-Conference Team, announced Monday by the conference office. Beck earned honorable mention honors for the second-consecutive year. Beck currently leads Air Force in scoring, averaging 13.6 points per game. The Blackfoot, Idaho, native has scored 395 points on the season, setting a new Div. I era record at Air Force. Beck also leads the team in rebounding (6.5 rpg), three point baskets (51), free throws (60) and free throw percentage (.822). Beck recently cracked the 1,000 point mark, becoming the 12th player in school history to do so and the first junior in the Div. I era. The Falcons open play at the 2009 Mountain West Conference Women's Basketball Championships in Las Vegas, Tuesday, March 9. Air Force, playing at the ninth-seed, faces off against fourth-seeded Utah at 2 p.m. PST.
