Beck Named To MWC Women's Basketball All-Conference Team

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Air Force sophomore guard Raimee Beck was named to the Mountain West Conference 2008-09 Women's Basketball All-Conference Team, announced Monday by the conference office. Beck earned honorable mention honors.
Beck currently leads Air Force in scoring, averaging 13.2 points per game. She leads the conference with 72 three-point baskets and 36.6 minutes played per game. The Blackfoot, Idaho, native has reached 20-plus points seven times this year. Against North Carolina Central, Beck scored 30 points, hitting 8-of-8 three-point baskets, coming one three shy of the NCAA record. Over a three-game span, Beck hit 12 consecutive three's which is two off the national record.
The Falcons open play at the 2009 Mountain West Conference Women's Basketball Championships in Las Vegas, Tuesday, March 10. Air Force, playing at the ninth-seed, faces off against fourth-seeded New Mexico at 2 p.m. PST. Internet radio for the game begins at 1:45 p.m.
