    The Air Force women's basketball team heads to Las Vegas, Nev., this Saturday, March 1, as they visit UNLV in a 4:00 p.m. (PT) contest.

    Last Meeting: UNLV came from behind to secure a 72-65 victory over Air Force on Jan. 4 at the Academy. Senior Camille Thompson scored a team-high 23 points and classmate Cherae Medina added 12 points and 10 assists to pace the Falcons. Meanwhile, Danielle Miller scored 24 points to lead the Lady Rebels.

    LAST TIME OUT...
    The Falcons trailed from the start in a 73-32 home loss to Wyoming on Wednesday evening. Senior Camille Thompson led Air Force with nine points and eight rebounds, while junior Jimi Blagowsky added eight points and six rebounds.

    SCOUTING THE FALCONS...
    Air Force enters this weekend with a 1-24 overall record and 0-15 mark in the Mountain West following its loss to Wyoming on Wednesday.

    The Falcons are led by junior Jimi Blagowsky, who is averaging 11.1 points per game, while senior Camille Thompson adds 11.0 points per contest. Meanwhile, Air Force's leading rebounder is sophomore Madeleine Philpot with 4.3 boards per contest.

    SCOUTING THE LADY REBELS...
    UNLV currently holds a 10-17 overall record on the season and a 7-8 mark in the Mountain West. The Lady Rebels are coming off a 68-48 road loss to Colorado State.

    Alana Cesarz leads UNLV with 14.0 points per game, while Danielle Miller and Mia Bell add 12.5 and 11.4 points per contest, respectively. Bell also averages a team-leading 3.7 assists per game, while Aley Rohde is the leading rebounder for the Lady Rebels with 7.2 boards per game.

    AIR FORCE IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST RANKINGS...
    Through games of Feb. 26, Air Force ranks ninth in the Mountain West in assists per game (13.0) and three-point field goals made per game (4.6). The Falcons also rank seventh in the league in assists (13.2) in conference games only.

    Individually, junior Jimi Blagowsky ranks ninth in the Mountain West in three-point field goals made per game (1.6).

    UNLV IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST RANKINGS...
    Through games of Feb. 26, UNLV ranks second in the Mountain West in three-point field goal percentage (.349) and third in steals per game (8.8). The Lady Rebels also rank second in the league in steals per game (9.3) in conference games only.

    Individually, Aley Rohde ranks fourth in the league in rebounding (7.2), seventh in blocked shots (1.2) and defensive rebounds (4.8) and is tied for eighth in offensive rebounds (2.4). Mia Bell ranks sixth in free throw percentage (.800), seventh in assists (3.7), three-point field goal percentage (.389) and three-point field goals made (1.8), and eighth in assist/turnover ratio (1.4), while Alana Cesarz ranks sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.391) and is tied for eighth in scoring (14.0). Additionally, Rmanii Haynes ranks fifth in the Mountain West in steals per game (1.7), while Danielle Miller is tied for sixth in steals per game (1.7).

    ASHTON RETURNS TO ACTION...
    Freshman Ashton Williams saw her first action of the conference season on Wednesday versus Wyoming, playing nine minutes against the Cowgirls. Williams had missed 16 straight games after suffering a concussion in mid-December.

    FALCONS IN THE RECORD BOOKS...
    Three different Falcons have entered the program's Division I career record books so far this season. Senior Cherae Medina currently ranks second in Air Force's Division I era in career assists with 229, while ranking ninth in career three-point field goal percentage (.299) and 10th in career three-point field goals made (66) and attempted (221). Meanwhile, junior Jimi Blagowsky ranks eighth in career three-point field goal percentage (.307) in the Division I era.

    In addition, senior Camille Thompson now ranks tied for fourth on the Falcons' Division I career games played with 114.

    SHOOTING WELL THIS SEASON...
    The Falcons have two players who currently rank among the top 10 in single-season field goal percentage (Division I era) at the Academy. Sophomore Missy Byrd ranks third on the list with a season field goal percentage of .471, while junior Lindsey Lewis ranks ninth at .441.

    JIMI IN THE TOP 10...
    With 40 made three-pointers this season, junior Jimi Blagowsky currently ranks ninth on the Falcons' single-season list (Division I era) for three-point field goals made and is tied for ninth in three-point field goal attempts with 130. She is also tied for 10th on Air Force's all-time list for three-pointers made and attempted in a single season.

    NEXT UP...
    The Falcons close out their home slate on Tuesday, March 4, as they host New Mexico in a 7:00 p.m. contest. Prior to the game, Air Force will honor the members of its senior class.
