    The Air Force women's basketball team returns to action this Saturday, Feb. 15, when it hosts San Diego State in a 1:00 p.m. contest.

    Last Meeting: San Diego State picked up a 72-39 victory over Air Force in San Diego on Jan. 11. Senior Camille Thompson was the lone Falcon to score in double figures, finishing with 12 points, while Khristina Hunter led the Aztecs with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

    The Play 4Kay initiative is an opportunity for a nation of coaches to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. In honor of this year's initiative, fans wearing pink to the Falcons' game versus San Diego State on Saturday will receive free admission.

    LAST TIME OUT...
    The Falcons dropped an 84-71 home decision to San José State on Wednesday evening. Junior Jimi Blagowsky scored a career-high 29 points to lead the Falcons, including a 4-of-4 performance from long range. Sophomore Missy Byrd added 13 points, junior Lindsey Lewis registered her first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and senior Camille Thompson added nine points and a career-high nine assists.

    SCOUTING THE FALCONS...
    Air Force currently holds a 1-21 overall record and 0-12 mark in the Mountain West following its home loss to San José State on Wednesday.

    The Falcons are led by junior Jimi Blagowsky and senior Camille Thompson, who are averaging 11.1 and 11.0 points per game, respectively. Meanwhile, Air Force's leading rebounder is sophomore Madeleine Philpot with 4.3 boards per contest.

    SCOUTING THE AZTECS...
    San Diego State enters this week's game with an 8-13 overall record on the season and a 5-6 mark in the Mountain West. The Aztecs are coming off a 69-60 home loss to Wyoming on Wednesday.

    Cierra Warren leads San Diego State with 14.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, while Ariell Bostick and Danesha Long add 9.9 and 9.8 points per contest, respectively.

    AIR FORCE IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST RANKINGS...
    Through games of Feb. 12, Air Force ranks eighth in the Mountain West in steals (6.7) and three-point field goals made per game (4.7). The Falcons also rank sixth in the league in three-point field goals made per contest (4.9) in conference games only.

    Individually, senior Cherae Medina ranks third in the Mountain West in assists per game (4.8) and eighth in assist/turnover ratio (1.5), while junior Jimi Blagowsky ranks ninth in three-point field goals made per game (1.7).

    SAN DIEGO STATE IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST RANKINGS...
    Through games of Feb. 12, San Diego State leads the Mountain West in rebounding defense (34.2), rebounding margin (+5.4) and offensive rebounding percentage (.407). Meanwhile, in conference games only, the Spartans rank third in the league in both blocked shots (4.1) and three-point field goals made (7.3).

    Individually, Cierra Warren leads the conference in field goal percentage (.557), while ranking fifth in scoring (14.6), seventh in offensive rebounds (2.7) and ninth in rebounding (6.4) and blocked shots (1.0). Meanwhile, Khristina Hunter ranks sixth in the league in offensive rebounds (2.9) and eighth in field goal percentage (.471).

    A CAREER HIGH FOR JIMI...
    Junior Jimi Blagowsky turned in her best offensive performance of the year on Wednesday versus San José State, scoring a career-high 29 points against the Spartans. Blagowsky was 11-of-19 from the field on Wednesday, including a perfect 4-of-4 from long range.

    LINDSEY WITH THE DOUBLE DOUBLE...
    Junior Lindsey Lewis tallied her first career double-double on Wednesday versus San José State, finishing with 12 points and a career-high 10 rebounds against the Spartans. Lewis is the third Falcon to register a double-double this season, joining senior Cherae Medina and sophomore Missy Byrd.

    FALCONS IN THE RECORD BOOKS...
    Three different Falcons have entered the program's Division I career record books so far this season. Senior Cherae Medina currently ranks second in Air Force's Division I era in career assists with 229, while ranking ninth in career three-point field goal percentage (.299) and 10th in career three-point field goals made (66) and attempted (221). Meanwhile, junior Jimi Blagowsky ranks sixth in career three-point field goal percentage (.319) in the Division I era.

    In addition, senior Camille Thompson now ranks tied for eighth on the Falcons' Division I career games played with 111.

    SHOOTING WELL THIS SEASON...
    The Falcons have two players who currently rank among the top 10 in single-season field goal percentage (Division I era) at the Academy. Sophomore Missy Byrd ranks second on the list with a season field goal percentage of .477, while junior Lindsey Lewis ranks ninth at .439.

    JIMI IN THE TOP 10...
    With 37 made three-pointers this season, junior Jimi Blagowsky currently ranks tied for 10th on the Falcons' single-season list (Division I era) for three-point field goals made.

    NEXT UP...
    The Falcons have a mid-week bye next Wednesday, but return to action on Saturday, Feb. 22, when they visit Nevada in a 4:00 p.m. (PT) contest.
