    The Streak Ends...

With its win against San Diego State on Wednesday, Air Force brought its 40-game conference losing streak to an end. Prior to the win over the Aztecs, the Falcons' last conference victory came against BYU, as Air Force defeated the Cougars, 54-40, at the Academy on March 3, 2008.

With the losing streak spanning more than two full seasons, just one current Falcon--senior Raimee Beck--had ever won a game against a Mountain West Conference opponent.

    Breaking the Record...

In addition to snapping its conference losing streak against San Diego State on Wednesday, Air Force witnessed another historical achievement in its game against the Aztecs. Senior captain Raimee Beck moved into first place on the Falcons' Division I career scoring list. Beck now has 1,242 career points, moving past 2008 graduate Alecia Steele, who ended her career with 1,237 career points.

    Jamela On the Boards...

Junior Jamela Satterfield matched a career high with nine rebounds against San Diego State on Wednesday, after pulling down seven rebounds against UNLV last Saturday. Satterfield is now averaging 5.8 rebounds per game in MWC contests, a mark which ranks second on the team.

    Don't Turn It over...

After averaging 24.0 turnovers in its first three conference games of the season, Air Force committed just 13 turnovers in its win over San Diego State. The Falcons are 5-1 this season when recording 15 or fewer turnovers.

    Next Up...

The Falcons play their next two games at home, starting on Tuesday, Jan. 25, as they host in-state rival Colorado State at 6:00 p.m. The contest will be televised live on The Mtn., as Air Force invites fans to "Pack the House" in a nationwide attendance challenge.
