LAS VEGAS (AP) - Mallary Gillespie scored 20 points to lead Brigham Young to a 72-40 victory over Air Force in Wednesday's quarterfinals of the Mountain West Conference women's tournament. BYU broke away from a 10-10 tie with a 19-0 run that ended with five minutes left in the first half. Gillespie had four points during the spurt. Air Force got no closer than 17 points afterward. Alecia Steele led the Falcons (6-23) with 12 points.
