Three Falcons Place At Oklahoma Open
Norman, Okla. - Three different Falcons finished as placewinners as the Air Force wrestling team continued its season Saturday at the Oklahoma Open. The host Sooners dominated the competition, winning individual titles in seven of the 10 weight classes, while placing four individuals.
Leading the way for Air Force was Norman native Beau Tresemer, who finished second at 165 pounds behind Central Oklahoma's Cody Rowell. It marked the second runner-up finish in two appearances this year for the senior co-captain.
Meanwhile, sophomore Jake Kriegbaum (Abilene, Kan.) was a placewinner for the third-straight week, finishing fourth at 141 pounds. In addition, Matt Crippes (Jr., Cloverdale, Calif.), who took first at 141 pounds in last year's Oklahoma Open, took fourth place in the 149-pound weight class.
The Falcons are back in action next weekend, Dec. 2-3, when they head to the annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.
