THIS WEEK ACROSS THE POND: Junior Alex Mossing became Air Force's first-ever U23 World Team Trials Champion, after going 4-0 en route to the championship title of the Greco-Roman 71kg class, Oct. 8, at the Mayo Civic Center, Rochester, Minn. Mossing won the title in the first two matches (best of 3) over Colin Schubert (NYAC/NMU), including a phenomenal four-point throw in the waning seconds of the first match. Mossing, a native of Toledo, Ohio, is one of eight athletes to represent Team USA's Greco-Roman team, November 21-26, 2017 in Bydgoszcz, Poland at the Senior U23 World Championships.

COMING UP: The Falcons will send ten wrestlers to compete at the prestigious Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, Dec. 1-2, in the Las Vegas Convention Center South Halls. The event is arguably one of the toughest regular-season tournaments in Division I wrestling. Last season, Alex Lopouchanski and Alex Mossing finished seventh and eighth, respectively.
