Air Force Wrestlers Begin 2004-05 Season At Cowboy Open

The Air Force wrestling team gets the 2004-05 season underway Sunday, Nov. 14, when they head to Laramie, Wyo., for the Cowboy Open, hosted by the University of Wyoming. The tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. in War Memorial Fieldhouse.
This year's Falcons return 10 letterwinners and eight starters from last season's squad that went 3-7 in dual meet action. Leading the way for Air Force are senior tri-captains Luke Lefever (La Crosse, Wis.), Jacob Lillich (Jay, Okla.) and Josh Peterson (Comstock, Wis.). In addition, the Falcons return both of their NCAA qualifiers from last season, junior Brandon Strong (Albuquerque, N.M.) and sophomore Chris Nissen (Denver, Colo.).
