    2012-13 Wrestle-Off Brackets Get Acrobat Reader

    The Air Force wrestling team concludes its 2012-13 wrestle-offs this Wednesday, Oct. 24, as it hosts its annual Blue-Silver Intrasquad Match in Clune Arena at 6:30 p.m. The event, which is open to the public, will feature 10 bouts to determine the Falcons' starting lineup heading into the season.

    Among the competitors in Wednesday night's matches are six wrestlers who earned byes to the final round as returning starters in their respective weight classes--Carter McElhany (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) at 141 pounds, Cole VonOhlen (Sr., Jackson, Minn.), Clay Gable (Sr., Dallastown, Pa.) at 174 pounds, Greg Isley (Jr., Toledo, Ohio) at 184 pounds, Josh Mohr (Sr., Pewaukee, Wis.) at 197 pounds and Jared Erickson (Sr., Newton, Utah).

    Meanwhile, other wrestlers who advanced straight to the finals include freshman Josh Martinez (Colorado Springs, Colo.) at 125 pounds and sophomore Dylan Hyder (Yelm, Wash.) at 133 pounds.
