Crozier Named to NWCA All-Academic Team

USAFA, Colo. - Air Force junior Stephen Crozier (Monona, Iowa) was one of 88 wrestlers named to the 2007-08 Division I All-Academic Team, released Thursday by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). A 2008 NCAA qualifier at 165 pounds, Crozier has compiled a 3.55 cumulative GPA while majoring in economics at the Academy. To qualify for selection on the NWCA All-Academic team, wrestlers must A) have a 3.2 GPA and been an NCAA qualifier or won 60 percent of his total schedule and must have competed in 60 percent of team schedule or B) have a 3.0 GPA and earned NCAA All-American honors. This season, Crozier ended the year with a 28-15 overall record, leading the Falcons in total wins. After taking second place at the 2008 West Regional, Crozier, the Falcons' top scholar-athlete, earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships.
