Crozier, Devlin Named To WWC All-Conference Team
March 21, 2007 Cedar Falls, Iowa - The Western Wrestling Conference has announced its inaugural All-Conference teams for the 2006-07 season. Individuals earned their spots on the respective teams with their finish at the 2007 NCAA West Regional on March 3. Air Force is represented by Stephen Crozier (So., Monona, Iowa) and Jacob Devlin (Jr., Livingston, N.J.), both third-team selections. Crozier, also a WWC all-academic selection, finished fourth at the NCAA West Regional at 174 pounds, ending his season with a 11-25 overall record. Meanwhile, Devlin, a fourth-place finisher at 184 pounds, closed out the season with a 16-22 mark. The University of Northern Iowa led the way with four first-team honorees. The University of Northern Colorado had three first-team members. Wyoming added two first-teamers and North Dakota State had one wrestler on the first team. The Western Wrestling Conference is comprised of seven schools including the Air Force Academy, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State, Utah Valley State and Wyoming. The conference formed in April 2006.
