Air Force's Kevin Hoy won both his matches today to advance to the finals at the NCAA Wrestling Championships. Hoy knocked off Pat Cummins of Penn State by a narrow 3-2 decision in the quarterfinals. He then defeated defending national champion Tommy Rolands of Ohio State to advance to the finals.

Rowlands, who sprained his ankle in the quarterfinals, gave up after Hoy's takedown early in the match. Top-seeded Steve Mocco remained undefeated this season with a 10-2 decision over Arizona State's Kellan Fluckinger. Hoy will take on the Mocca tomorrow night (March 22) in a bid to become the Falcons' first national champion since 1967. The finals can be seen tape delay on ESPN2 beginning at 5 p.m. MST.

Heath McKim (125 pounds) finished the tournament with two wins and two losses and did not place.
