Air Force Hosts Colorado School of Mines, Utah Valley State

The Air Force wrestling team has its first home matches of the season this weekend, Jan. 25, when it will host Colorado School of Mines and WWC foe Utah Valley State. The Falcons will take on the Orediggers at 3:00 p.m., followed by the contest with Wolverines. Both matches will take place in Clune Arena. Air Force will then wrap up the weekend on Saturday at the Borah Duals, hosted by Western State.
Last Time Out...
Scouting the Falcons... Meanwhile, Gillespie, Chris Szabolcs and Joseph Stafford lead the team with four falls each on the season, while sophomore Kurt Spranger owns a fastest fall of 46 seconds.
Scouting the Orediggers... The Orediggers are led by 197-pounder Brennan Knerr, who holds 13-5 overall record and 6-2 mark in dual action.
Scouting the Wolverines... Utah Valley State enters this weekend with a 4-5 dual mark and 1-0 record in the Western Wrestling Conference. The Wolverines were last in action at their own Utah Valley Open on Jan. 12. At the Utah Valley Open, Benjamin Kjar was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler after winning the 125-pound title, while Brad Darrington won the 184-pound weight class.
