Air Force Wrestling Set to Host Black and Blue Match

Thursday Oct. 22, 6:30 pm at Clune Arena

Sophomore 2015-16: Finished the season with a 17-17 overall record … 2016 NCAA national qualifier … posted a 5-5 dual meet record … logged 19 dual points for the Falcons … logged three major decisions and two falls … second at the All-Academy Championships … placed seventh at the Big 12 wrestling tournament … Frank “Bruiser” Bryant Award … Athletic Director’s pin … Commandant’s pin … completed Operation Air Force at Travis, AFB, Calif. … Expeditionary, Survival and Evasion Training cadre over the third block of summer … will serve as the B-2 element leader as a junior.

Freshman 2014-15: Finished the season with a 7-3 overall record and 1-1 dual record … placed second at the Cowboy Open … second in the U.S. Western Open 125 class.

USAFA Prep: Attended the USAFA prep school where he took third in the NCWA tournament and kept a GPA above 3.0.

High School: Lettered four years in varsity wrestling under coach Kurtis Romero at Broomfield HS ... 2010 3A third … 2011 3A first … sixth in Greco and fifth in freestyle at 98lbs … All-American at Fargo … 2012 4A first … 2013 4A second.
