Air Force Wrestling Set to Host Black and Blue Match

Thursday Oct. 22, 6:30 pm at Clune Arena

Freshman 2015-16: Finished the season with an overall record of 18-8, third most overall wins on the team … had the second best dual slate finish on the team with a 10-2 record, tied for first in most dual wins on the season …  five bonus points wins in dual matches, second most on the team … went 4-1 in Big 12 conference duals … earned 36 dual points for the Falcons, second most on the team … logged four major decisions, second most on the team … two technical falls in dual meet action, most on the team … one pin on the season in 1:35 … three dual match major decisions, second most on the team … placed second at the Cowboy Open … placed third at the All-Academy Championships … completed UAS/Space training over the first block of summer … completed Expeditionary Survival and Escape Training over the third block of summer … will serve as the athletic clerk as a sophomore.

High School: Four-year letterman in wrestling … wrestled for coach Frank Pettineo at Cardinal Gibbons HS … two-time FHSAA state third place finisher … three-time FHSAA state qualifier … member of the 2014 FHSAA state championship team … graduated with a 4.5 GPA and earned the honor roll all four years.
