Air Force wrestlers Jared Erickson, Dylan Hyder and Jesse Stafford have all been named to the Western Wrestling Conference All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Tuesday. Meanwhile, 12 other Falcons were named to the Coaches' Honor Roll for the 2012-13 season.

Rising senior Josh Kreimier has been tabbed the Air Force wrestling team captain for the 2013-14 season, as announced by head coach Joel Sharratt. Kreimier, a native of Fort Collins, Colo., was voted by his peers to serve as the team's leader for the upcoming season.

Air Force sophomores Dylan Hyder and Jesse Stafford have both been named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association's (NWCA) Individual All-Academic team for the 2012-13 wrestling season, as announced today by the organization. Hyder and Stafford become the first Falcons since 2009 to receive the honor.

The 2012-13 awardwinners for the Air Force wrestling team were honored Thursday evening at the team's annual banquet. Earning top honors was senior team captain Cole VonOhlen (Jackson, Minn.), who was the recipient of the Falcons' Outstanding Wrestler award.

Five Air Force wrestlers finished as All-Americans in the Greco-Roman division of the ASICS Junior National Championships on Friday, led by freshman Willie Baker (Jackson, Minn.), who claimed the 79kg title.
