    The Air Force water polo team finished 3-1 in a series of conference matches last weekend in California against Loyola Marymount, Whittier College, Redlands Univ. and La Verne. The Falcons fell against LMU, 7-4, but rebounded with a 11-3 win over Whittier that same day. Air Force downed Redlands, 7-2, Sunday morning and dropped La Verne 12-1 in their final game to finish 3-1 on the weekend. The Falcons end their regular season with a 11-2 record in the Western Water Polo Association and 16-9 overall before heading to the WWPA Championships Nov. 21-22 at University of Redlands.

    Senior Brandon Shroyer was named Air Force's MVP for the weekend with 27 saves in goal. Senior Scott Butler netted eight goals against opponents followed by juniors Josh Jewett and Murphey Morgan with five each. Junior Jared Jones had 12 saves in goal for the Falcons.
