Water Polo Travels To Loyola Marymount, La Verne

    The Air Force water polo team returns to action this weekend for a series of Western Water Polo Association matches, Nov. 8-9, at Loyola Marymount Univ. and La Verne Univ. The Falcons are currently 8-1 in conference play and 13-8 overall.

    U.S.A.F.A., Colo.- The Air Force water polo team returns to action this weekend for a series of Western Water Polo Association matches, Nov. 8-9, at Loyola Marymount Univ. and La Verne Univ.

    The Falcons take on LMU Saturday morning at 11 PT and Whittier at 3 p.m. Air Force then travels to La Verne to compete against Redlands Univ. at 9 a.m. followed by a match against host La Verne.

    The Falcons are currently 8-1 in conference play and 13-8 overall. Air Force returns after a weekend off and having won its "East Meets West" tournament, Oct. 25-26. The Falcons dropped opponents George Washington University, 12-6, and Chapman, 17-4, during Saturday's competition and then Iona College, 8-6, and Cal Baptist, 12-9, during Sundays matches to go 4-0 on the weekend and to win the tournament.
