Water Polo Prepares for Upcoming Week After Time Off

The Falcons water polo team is preparing for a full weekend in Loyola, CA, with matches scheduled against Loyola Marymount, Santa Clara and California Baptist.

Vs. Loyola Marymount: Air Force has already faced Loyola Marymount in competition earlier this season, defeating them, 9-8, at the Triton Tournament hosted by UC San Diego. Loyola Marymount is currently ranked second in their conference and a Falcon win would put them in the Loyola slot.

Vs. Cal Baptist: Air Force has also faced Cal Baptist on three separate occasions earlier this season, defeating them twice at the Air force Invitational, 9-6, and 8-7, and losing to the Lancers, 6-5, at the Northern California Tournament.

Vs. Santa Clara: The Falcons have yet to face Santa Clara in competition this season. Air Force defeated Santa Clara both times they faced each other in competition last season, 11-10 and 13-8.

The Falcons have already guaranteed themselves a spot at the Western Water Polo Association Championships in Honolulu, HI, which is being held November 17-19. The winner of the WWPA Championships will be going to the NCAA Championships in Malibu, CA, held Dec 2-3.
