Falcons Fall At Princeton Tournament

    PRINCETON, N.J.- The Air Force water polo team fell in its second weekend of competition at the Princeton Invitational, getting edged on Saturday by Iona, 12-10, and Queens, 10-8. The Falcons also dropped their two matches on Sunday, falling 11-6 to Princeton and 11-10 to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

    In its first day of the tournament, Air Force played well against Queens, with goals from C1C (Sr.) Charles Horn (2) and C2Cs (Jr.) Eric Baber and Kirk Reimer. Unfortunately against both Iona and Queens, the Falcons were edged out by two goals to drop their first two matches of the tournament. Against Princeton, the Falcons netted six goals courtesy of Baber (2), Horn, Reimer, and C3Cs (So.) Murphey Morgan and Chris Nary. USMMA squeezed by with a narrow victory in Air Force's final match of the tournament, losing the game 11-10. Eight different Falcons scored throughout the match, with goals from Baber, Morgan, Nary, Horn, Reimer (2), C1C Lowell Wallace, C3C Josh Jewett, and C2C Micah Peterson (2).
