Davis, Calif. - On the final day of the Aggie Shootout, the 16th-ranked Air Force water polo team dropped a 4-2 decision to ninth-ranked host UC Davis. With the loss, the Falcons fall to 7-11 on the season, 3-4 in the WWPA.

The contest between the two conference opponents proved to be a defensive battle, with UC Davis holding Air Force scoreless through the first three periods. Meanwhile, the Aggies scored just one goal in each quarter, leading 4-0 before the Falcons closed out the game with a pair of scores. Sophomore Alex Churnside (Orange, Calif.) and senior Clark Condict (Irvine, Calif.) each notched a man-up goal for Air Force in the last three minutes to account for the final 4-2 tally.

After taking next weekend off, the Falcons return to action Oct. 20-21, when they travel to Annapolis, Md., to face George Washington, Princeton, Bucknell and host Navy.
