Water Polo The 15th-ranked Air Force water polo team wraps up its regular season this weekend, Nov. 7-8, with four road Western Water Polo Association contests. Water Polo Wrapping up its weekend against a pair of nationally ranked teams, the 15th-ranked Air Force water polo team lost two games Sunday at The Rodeo, hosted by Santa Clara. The Falcons, who fall to 13-11 overall and 7-3 in the WWPA, opened the day with a 15-12 loss to No. 19 St. Francis, before dropping an 11-4 contest to 16th-ranked host Santa Clara. Water Polo Taking both of its games into extra periods, the 15th-ranked Air Force water polo team registered a pair of overtime victories Saturday at The Rodeo, hosted by Santa Clara. The Falcons, who move to 13-9 overall and 7-2 in the WWPA, opened the day with an 8-7 win over 13th-ranked UC Davis, followed by a 9-8 decision against Brown. The Falcons will play 13th-ranked UC Davis at noon (PT) Saturday, followed by a contest against Brown at 4:00 p.m. On Sunday, Air Force plays 19th-ranked St. Francis at 9:20 a.m., before wrapping up the weekend against the 16th-ranked host Broncos at 2:40 p.m. [+]No. 15 Air Force Wins Pair of Non-Conference Contests10/18/2009-M. Water Polo The 15th-ranked Air Force water polo team wrapped up its four-game trip to the East Coast on a high note, defeating George Washington and Johns Hopkins Sunday at Scott Natatorium. The Falcons rolled to a 14-5 victory over the Colonials before coming out on top in a close 11-10 decision against the Blue Jays. With the wins, Air Force moves to 12-9 on the season. [+]
