U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo.- The Air Force men’s tennis team has released its spring schedule. The Falcons open the season, and the home slate, Sunday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m. against CSU-Pueblo.
Air Force plays its first five matches at home with 14 total home matches and 10 total road matches on the schedule. The schedule in highlighted by a neutral site battle against service academy rival, Army West Point, at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif. The team travels to Abilene, Texas, Feb. 3-4, for its first road matches of the season against Oral Roberts and Abilene Christian. The Falcons will see action as far west as Honolulu, Hawaii.
The Mountain West slate begins at the end of March and is highlighted by home matches against Fresno State, Nevada, Boise State and Utah State. The conference tournament is April 26-28 in San Diego, Calif.
Air Force is coming off a successful fall schedule where they competed in five tournaments, highlighted by the squad’s best doubles action in years, advancing two teams to the round of 16 at the ITA Regionals.
