The Air Force men's tennis team wraps up its fall schedule this week at the 2006 ITA Mountain Region Championships in Las Vegas, Nev. The tournament begins on Wednesday, Oct. 18 and runs through Sunday, Oct. 22 at the Darling Tennis Center on the campus of UNLV.

The tournament features players from Mountain West Conference schools Utah, BYU and New Mexico.

Leading the way for the falcons are senior Robby Alexander and freshman Brett Rodgers, who competed at the prestigious Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational last weekend in Midland, Texas. Alexander lost his first-round match to Finisa Markovic of Texas Tech, 6-2, 7-5, while Rodgers fell to UCLA's Jeremy Drean, 6-1, 6-4. The two combined to play doubles and lost to Daniel Omana and Gonzalo Bienzobas of Texas-Arlington, 8-6, in the first round.

Updated brackets for the Mountain Region Championships will be available on www.airforcesports.com throughout the week.
