Falcons Complete Day Two at UNM Balloon Fiesta Tournament
    Trevor Johnson makes quarters in singles and doubles

    Air Force junior Trevor Johnson lost in the quarterfinals of the Lobo Balloon Fiesta Men's Tennis Tournament in Albuquerque, N.M., Saturday, 6-0, 7-6, to Jan Zelezny of Colorado. Senior Chris Dong also fell on Saturday, losing 6-2, 6-0 in the consolation semifinals to Bryan Wooten of Texas A&M.

    Dong and Johnson had the best performance for the Falcons in doubles, winning two matches before falling in the quarterfinals to Max Jones and Kamil Pajkowski of New Mexico, 9-7. Sophomores Robert Alexander and Justin Lau lost in the consolation quarterfinals, 8-4, to Luis Avila and Christian Halligan of New Mexico State, 8-4.

    Sophomores Ryan White and Keith Cronican each advanced to the semifinals of Flight B. White lost a tough three-setter to Derek Lynch of New Mexico, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, while Cronican fell to Northern Arizona's Brian Grooms, 6-4, 6-3.
