After winning five consecutive matches at the 2004 Icy Hot/ITA Men's Tennis All-American Championships, Air Force's doubles team of senior Tyler McClung and junior Shannon Buck lost in the quarterfinals Friday to Scott Green and Ross Wilson of Ohio State, 8-5.

Buck and McClung, the only unranked team in the quarterfinals, defeated two top-10 teams en route to the quarterfinals, including the 10th-ranked duo of Jeff Groslimond and Chris Westerhoff from Florida State, 8-3, earlier Friday in the round of 16. They beat the eighth-ranked team of Frabrizio Sestini and Rafael Abreau of TCU in the round of 32. Green and Wilson are ranked 34th in the country.

Buck was also eliminated from the singles competition on Friday with a 6-4, 7-6(8) loss to 18th-ranked Ken Skupski of LSU in the round of 16.
