Falcons Begin UNM Tournament on Friday


    Five members of the Air Force men's tennis team will travel to Albuquerque, N.M., this weekend to compete in the UNM Balloon Fiesta Invitational. The tournament, consisting of two singles draws and one doubles draw, has 45 players representing 10 different teams. Participating teams are Air Force, Arizona, College of Santa Fe, Colorado, Denver, New Mexico, New Mexico State, New Mexico Military Institute, Northern Arizona and Texas Tech.

    The players representing Air Force are juniors Justin Lau, Robby Alexander, Keith Cronican and Ryan White and sophomore Greg Ferry. Lau and Alexander will compete in the flight "A" singles bracket, while the other three will be in the flight "B" bracket.

    Lau and Alexander will play doubles together, as will Cronican and White. The three-day tournament begins Friday, Oct. 7. For complete results, please click on the link at the top of this article.
