McClung, Buck Win Again at ITA All-American Championships

    The Air Force men's doubles team of senior Tyler McClung and junior Shannon Buck won their second consecutive match in the qualifying draw at the 2004 Icy Hot/ITA Men's All-American Championships Tuesday with a decisive 8-2 victory over Neils Boksik and Alexander Farquharson of Texas-Arlington.

    The Falcon duo needs one more victory to be placed in the 32-team main draw, which begins on Thursday. Buck and McClung will play Andy Formanczyk and Cameron Marshall of Michigan State at 1 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday at the Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn.

    The Icy Hot/ITA Men's All-American Championships include 192-singles player and 96-doubles team prequalifying tournaments played October 1-3 which feed into 128-player and 64-doubles team qualifying tournaments October 4-6. The 64-player, 32-doubles team main draw takes place Oct. 7-10. The singles tournament fields can run over 350 players, making it the largest collegiate event of the season.
