U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo. -- The Air Force men's tennis team will open its road slate at the Lobo Invitational, hosted by the University of New Mexico, Fri., Sept. 29 to Sun., Oct. 1, in Albuquerque, N.M.  Matches are slated to begin at 9:00 a.m. MT on all days.

Last weekend, Air Force concluded its season opener at the USAFA Invitational with multiple champions at the outdoor tennis courts of Cadet Gymnasium. Freshman Patrick Sklenka won the top draw in singles while Tadgh Collins and Mack Galvin took a doubles title.

Doubles teams Sean McKendree and Austin Gula along with Jamie Bautista and Santiago Garcia advanced to the finals of the second doubles draw. Both teams went 3-0 en route to the finals match. The Falcons opened the 2017 season in promising fashion, dropping only four matches to opposing teams on the event.
