Falcons Open Fall Season at Baylor Invitational

    The Air Force men's tennis team opens its 2009-10 campaign this weekend at the ninth annual Baylor HEB Intercollegiate Invitational at the Baylor Tennis Center. Action begins on Friday, Sept. 25th and will conclude on Sunday, Sept 27.

    23 programs will take part in the prestigious tournament. Joining AFA and the host Bears are Texas A&M, Texas A&M Corpus-Christi, Abilene Christian, Arkansas, Denver, New Mexico State, Oklahoma Christian, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Rice, TCU, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Tulsa, Louisiana-Lafayette, UNLV, Texas, UT-Arlington, UT-San Antonio, Wichita State and Wisconsin.

    The Falcons return their top seven players from last year's team and have added four freshmen for the 2009 fall season. Air Force head coach Rich Gugat enters his 36th and final season at the helm of the men's tennis program.
