Tennis Alumni Weekend 2000 Announced!

USAFA, Colo. -- Breakout the liniment! All the old tennis elbows will get a chance to unlimber during the weekend of 8-10 September 2000 when the USAFA Letter winners Club sponsors Tennis Alumni Weekend 2000. This is a joint mens and womens effort and the schedule of events is exciting and promises to be a great time for all the attendees.

All attendees should insure they contact either Kelly Clayton (719-487-1995) or Bob Swanson (719-596-3798). They need to know as soon as possible which activities you plan to attend and how many in your party will participate in each event. Below is a list of scheduled events:

Friday, September 8th
3:30-5:00 Mixed Doubles Tennis Tournament: Each player will be assigned a current Academy Cadet as their teammate. Leading team after 15 minutes of playing-wins.

7:00 Social/Dinner: Assistant Men's coach, Jerry Ledzinski will open his home for us to gather. This meal will be catered--cost will be $15 per person.

Saturday, September 9th
9:00 Tailgate: Bagels and fixin's will be served. Cost is $7 (note: If you attend both dinner and tailgate total cost is only $20)

11:00 Football Game: I will purchase tickets on the 21st. Be sure to give exact numbers Cost $25 per person. If we have 20 or more, cost will be $23 per person.

Sunday, September 10th
9:00 Golf: Tee time will be set based on those interested. Time is not firm. Cost: Active duty, Retired, Gov't employee and dependents $18. All others $50.
