    Air Force men's tennis coach Dan Oosterhous announced today the four players that will make up the Falcons' class of 2017. Nicholas Carpenter (New Braunfels, TX), Lucas Fumagalli (New Braunfels, TX), Dillon Launius (Austin, TX) and Mark Kite (Indianapolis, IN) arrived for Basic Cadet Training on Thursday, June 27, marking the beginning of the four-year journey to become officers in the United States Air Force.
     
    "We are very excited about the incoming class of 2017 and are the contributions they will make to the Air Force Academy and the tennis team," said Oosterhous. "Their qualifications for the Academy are the highest among any of my four recruiting classes. Coach (Jeff) Nevolo and I cannot wait to get started working with them when we begin our fall season in August."

    Air Force returns nine of 11 players from last year's roster following the graduation of Lance Wilhelm and Stephen Katrein. The Falcons finished the 2012-13 season with an 11-13 record.
