Ferry and Beaussart Named Academic All-MWC

Greg Ferry and Alex Beaussart have been named to the 2008 Academic All-Mountain West Conference team. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team. Ferry, who graduated in May with a degree in management, completed his four years at the Academy with a 3.04 GPA. He played the majority of the 2007-08 season at the No. 6 singles spot, where he produced a 4-4 record. Beaussart, meanwhile, played most of his freshman campaign at the No. 5 spot. He completed his first year at the Academy with a 3.06 GPA and has yet to declare a major.
