This week: Air Force closes out the regular season with a pair of home matches this weekend. The Falcons host Nebraska-Omaha Friday, April 21, at 4:30 p.m. The team closes out the regular season vs. New Mexico Saturday, April 22, at 3 p.m. The match is a PACK THE HOUSE event.

Four match home stand: Air Force is playing four straight at home before traveling to the Mountain West Championships April 28-30 in Boise, ID. The Falcons played a stretch of eight consecutive matches away from home from Friday, March 10, to Sunday, April 9. The Falcons played their first four Mountain West matches on the road.

Last week: Air Force dropped a pair of Mountain West home matches. The Falcons fell to San Diego State, 4-2, Friday and to UNLV, 4-0, Sunday.

Freshman Mack Galvin leads the way: Freshman Mack Galvin leads the Falcons with a 25-13 overall record in singles. Galvin is 15-7 this spring in duals. 

Head Coach Dan Oosterhous: Dan Oosterhous is in his eighth season as the men’s tennis coach at the Air Force Academy after being named the program’s 12th head coach October 1, 2009. Oosterhous, a 1993 graduate of the Academy, replaced legendary head coach Rich Gugat, who retired after 36 years at the helm of the men’s tennis program. Oosterhous, one of the best tennis players in program history, has a 78-109 career record. A native of Texarkana, Texas, He is a senior pilot with over 3,100 hours in the C-5, C-21, T-38, and T-37. He has three children, Emma (19), Anna (17) and Andrew (15).
