The Air Force men's tennis team dropped its second consecutive Mountain West Conference match Saturday, falling 7-0 to No. 72 San Diego State at the Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas, Nev. The Falcons fell to 11-6 and 0-2 in the MWC, while the Aztecs improved to 9-6 and 2-0 in league play.SDSU opened the match by clinching the doubles point with wins at all three doubles spots. Benedikt Stronk and Marcus Dickhardt led the way with an 8-7 victory over Falcon seniors Shannon Buck and Trevor Johnson at the No. 1 position.Christian Groh and Stephen Timu followed suit at No. 2 doubles, beating AFA's duo of junior Robby Alexander and sophomore Greg Ferry, 8-4. Robert Sabo and Billy Timu completed the sweep with an 8-5 win over juniors Keith Cronican and Ryan White at the No. 3 spot.Buck had his 13-match winning streak snapped as he suffered his first singles loss of the spring to Stronk, 2-6, 7-5, (10-7).
