The Air Force men's tennis team begins a three-match homestand on Tuesday, March 29 against in-state rival University of Denver. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at the Academy. The Falcons are 9-6 this spring after posting a 1-3 record last week on their spring break trip to Hawaii.

Sophomore Lance Wilhelm and freshman Lucas Marin-Salcedo continue to lead the Falcons. Wilhelm is 10-5 at the No. 1 singles spot, while Marin-Salcedo is 7-6 this spring, including a 5-4 mark at the No. 2 spot. Marin-Salcedo was the only Air Force player to win a singles match against 40th-ranked Cal Poly last Friday, saving a couple of match points before defeating Alexander Sonesson, 0-6, 7-5, (10-5).

Denver enters the match with a 3-12 record after falling to 22nd-ranked Minnesota, 7-0, on Saturday. The Pioneers are led by Enej Bonin, who is ranked 50th in the country in singles.
