    Air Force senior Chris Zielinski has been named this week's Mountain West Conference men's tennis player of the week. This is the first player of the week honor in his career.

    Zielinski, an Ocean City, Md., product, brought home two singles and three doubles victories last week., helping the Falcons go 3-0 during the week. Against Eastern Washington, Zielinski teamed with his twin brother, Greg, to defeat Jake Stocking and Eric Eggers, 8-2 at No. 1 doubles as the Falcons beat EWU, 7-0. Later that day against Montana, Zielinski beat Jonah Sandford at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-2, and against teamed with brother Greg to win 8-4 at No. 1 doubles. Air Force defeated Montana 7-0. He ended the week with another straight-set victory (6-0, 6-2) over Bradley's Marijon Panzic at No. 3 singles, and at No. 1 doubles, won 8-6 as the Falcons won 6-1.

    Air Force is 11-2 this season and currently has a seven-match winning streak.
