Brett Rodgers Named MWC Player of the Week

Air Force's Brett Rodgers was named the Mountain West Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week Friday, announced by the conference office.

Rodgers won all four of his matches as the Falcons defeated Montana, 5-2, and UMKC, 4-0, last week. The freshman from Midland, Texas, won the No. 2 singles match over Stuart Wong of Montana, 6-1, 6-3, and paired with freshman Mike Youn to beat Wong and Felipe Raw, 8-5, at No. 2 doubles. Later in the day, Rodgers downed Patrick Smith of UMKC at the No. 2 position, 6-1, 6-3, and won the No. 2 doubles match with Youn, 8-5.

Air Force hosts Radford on Saturday, March 10 at 9 a.m.
