    Air Force sophomore Shannon Buck is the Mountain West Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Buck led the Falcons to a 2-1 dual match record last week.

    Buck, from San Antonio, Texas, went undefeated in three singles and three doubles matches last week as the Falcons posted a 2-1 team record. Ranked No. 35 in the country and competing at the No. 1 spot for Air Force, Buck opened the weekend with a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Christian Gerloff of Point Loma Nazarene, followed by a 6-2, 6-4 win over Marc Contreras (UC Riverside) and a 7-6, 6-2 victory over UC Irvine's Jon Endrikat. Buck teamed with Tyler McClung to post a 3-0 mark in doubles play.

    The Falcons host CSU-Pueblo (9 a.m.) and Northern Colorado (12:30 p.m.) on Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Academy's Indoor Courts.
