Falcons Host Portland State on Saturday

    The Air Force men’s tennis team hosts Portland State on Saturday, Feb. 22 at noon. The match will be played at AFA’s Indoor Tennis Courts located inside the Cadet Gymnasium and is free to the public.

    The Falcons enter the match with a 6-2 record after dropping their first Mountain West match of the season last Sunday to 72nd-ranked New Mexico. Senior Alex Grubbs posted the only win for Air Force, defeating Mitch McDaniels, ranked 17th in the Mountain Region. Grubbs is 6-1 at the No. 4 spot and is tied for the team lead with senior Steven Young with nine overall singles wins.

    In doubles, junior Grant Taylor and freshman Lucas Fumagalli are 7-1 overall and 6-1 at the No. 3 spot.
