UC Irvine Defeats Air Force in Men's Tennis


    UC Irvine defeated Air Force, 5-2, Sunday afternoon in a men's tennis match at UCI Tennis Stadium. The Anteaters rebounded after losing the doubles point to win five singles matches. Twins Chris and Greg Zielinski won at No. 1 doubles, 9-7, while Rene Ramirez and Kyle Rainey were 8-5 winners at No. 3 to secure the doubles point for AFA. The Falcons' only singles win came at No. 6 when Justin Mancinelli defeated Renouk Wijemanne, 6-3, 6-2. UCI won four of the remaining five matches in straight sets to improve to 5-1 overall. Air Force falls to 5-3 overall.
