Falcons Wrap Up Play at Lobo Balloon Fiesta Classic

The Air Force men's tennis team wrapped up action at the Lobo Balloon Fiesta Classic Sunday in Albuquerque, N.M. Junior Alex Beaussart captured AFA's lone singles victory on Sunday, defeating Falcon freshman Sam Barnes, 6-7, 6-3, 6-3, in the final of the consolation bracket made up of players that lost in the second round of the main "B" flight draw. Senior Brett Rodgers fell in the consolation final of the "A" bracket to Northern Arizona's Hugo Ramadier, 6-3, 6-2, while freshman Lance Wilhelm dropped a 6-3, 6-0 decision to Joe Wood of New Mexico in the final of the consolation bracket made up of players that lost in the second round of the main "A" flight draw. The Falcons conclude their fall tournament season with the ITA Mountain Region Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev., beginning Wednesday, Oct. 21.
