    Sophomore Miles Maloy and freshmen Cody Hall and Stuart Coston advanced to the quarterfinals of the Lobo Balloon Fiesta Men's Tennis Classic Friday in Albuquerque, N.M. Hall is playing in the "A" singles flight, while Maloy and Coston are in the "B" flight.

    Hall, who is playing in his hometown, received a bye in the first round, then defeated Chris Arena of Northern Arizona, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, in the round of 16. He will face the tournament's top-seed, Stanley Sarapanich of Boise State, on Saturday.

    Maloy and Coston each won two matches in the "B" flight Friday. Maloy opened with a decisive, 6-0, 6-1 victory over Joseph Garcia of Grand Canyon College, then beat Andrew Archer of New Mexico, 6-4, 7-5. Coston, meanwhile, downed Andy Green of Northern Colorado, 6-3, 6-4, then defeated Teddy Yelley of New Mexico Military Institute, 6-2, 6-1.

    Sophomore Alex Beaussart won a consolation match in the "A" flight, while senior Kyle Epperson did the same in the "B" flight on Friday.
