Sophomore Lance Wilhelm and freshman Andy Jackson captured the No. 2 doubles match for Air Force, downing Ari Davis and Ji Hoon Heo, 8-6, to improve to 8-4 at the top spot. HPU won the other two doubles matches 8-5 to win the double point.

In singles, senior Taylor Soster won the No. 5 match, 6-2, 6-1, over Sari Alotaibi and freshman Steven Young took the No. 6 match, 7-6(6), 6-2 over Davis. The Sea Warriors won the top four singles matches in straight sets.

"We had great play from Taylor Soster and Steven Young, but we couldn't hold off the rest of a solid HPU team," said Air Force head coach Dan Oosterhous.
