    The Air Force men's tennis team improved to 7-5 with its second consecutive victory, defeating Northern Colorado, 5-2 Saturday at Work Out West in Greeley. The Bears fell to 1-2 with the loss.

    The Falcons won all three doubles matches and four of the singles matches to earn the win. Sophomores Austin Francis and James Tomlin won at No. 2 and sophomore Mike Gies and freshman Johnny Buckingham won the No. 3 match, both in a tiebreaker.

    Sophomore Brett Rodgers took the No. 1 singles match over Vinnie Fallico, 6-4, 6-2, then the Falcons won the Nos. 4-6 matches. Freshman Taylor Soster won at No. 4, downing, Ryan Dunn, 6-0, 7-5, while Buckingham defeated Eric Morin at No. 5, 6-2, 6-0. Freshman Alex Beaussart finished the match with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Andrew Buzako at No. 6.

    The Falcons will play again Friday, March 14, against Montana at the Academy.
