Men’s Tennis Falls at Denver

DENVER, Colo. – Air Force picked up a pair of wins in the top-two positions of singles action in the 5-2 loss to the University of Denver, Saturday afternoon in Denver, Colo.  The Falcons are now 6-2 on the season.

Denver posted wins in the top-two doubles position to secure the match point.  Luke Sanderson and Jamie Bautista were up 5-2 in the third position when the match point was secured.

Patrick Sklenka put a strong performance on display in the No. 1 position as he added the Falcons’ first point with a straight set win over Mattias Ros, 6-4, 6-4.  Isaac Perez notched the second point for the Falcons with a straight-set win over Eric Morris in the No. 2 position, 7-5, 6-3.

Air Force continues action on the road with a double-header against the University of Hawai’I, Feb. 17-18.  Both matches are slated for noon starts.
