Posted a 12-11 overall singles record, including a 4-4 dual mark and an 8-7 tournament record … was 9-15 overall in doubles, including a 6-8 mark in duals … was 3-7 in tournament play and had an 0-1 mark in conference matches ... won the B draw in singles at the 2014 University of Denver fall tournament.


2013-14 (Freshman)

Posted an 0-2 singles and 1-2 doubles record … went 1-0 at the No. 3 doubles position with teammate Nico Carpenter.


Before Air Force

Four-year letterwinner in tennis … three-time first-team all-district selection … two-time state qualifier ... ranked No. 41 in the state of Texas and 49th in the Gulf States region, according to tennisrecruiting.net … high school tennis coach was James Larremore.



Parents are Bob and Wendy Launius ... has two sisters and one brother … worked as a flight commander during survival training last summer … also completed the Powered Flight program and soloed in a T-53 … completed Operation Air Force last summer at Shaw Air Force and received an F-16 ride in the summer of 2015 … was also an element leader during Basic Cadet Training … works as his squadron’s operations officer and athletics officer … completed the Expeditionary Survival and Evasion Training (ESET) in the summer of 2014 … also completed the jump program … would like to attend pilot training after his time at the Academy … hobbies include hiking and biking ... favorite food is wings ... favorite book is any Harry Potter book … favorite movie is Dazed and Confused ... person in history he would most like to meet is Alexander the Great … member of cadet squadron 16.
